  • Common Tests and Preparation
    • Electrodiagnostic Testing or EMGs are used to test the function of muscles and nerves with tiny electrodes that record the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles. Physicians use it to diagnose the cause of back/neck pain, numbness/tingling, and strength loss.
    • Nerve Conduction Study or NCS allows your doctor to evaluate the function of the motor and sensory nerves of the human body.
