Orthopedic Surgery

The orthopedic surgery team at MSU Health Care Sports Medicine offers care to patients in the mid-Michigan area with the diagnosis and surgical management of general and complex orthopedic concerns for shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle injuries.

Our orthopedic surgery team provides patients with access to complete care within the university setting. Patients will experience personalized care from screening, diagnoses, and treatment. The team approach at MSU Health Care include our physical and occupational therapist along with our sport medicine primary care physicians and orthopedic spine surgeon focusing on not only on sports, but preserving motion in everyday life.

Practice Philosophy

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality in comprehensive medical care to sports participants of all ages, including prevention, osteopathic manual medicine, surgical and nonoperative treatment, and rehabilitation.

We are committed to community health by providing onsite school pre-participation physicals, and injury clinics. Additionally, we are proud to provide medical coverage for community sporting events, Olympic and professional sports teams, and are the official medical providers of the MSU athletes.
